COLLINS, William Ray, Jr., age 61 of Vandalia, passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 20, 2020. William was born October 15, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland, son of William Ray Sr. and Delores (Cox) Collins.

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Wright State University and was currently employed as the Manager at O’Charley’s in Springfield. William was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, a Civil War history buff, and enjoyed watching Andy Griffith reruns every day. He loved to travel with his family and his favorite destinations were Mackinac Island, Michigan and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

William is survived by his parents, William Sr. & Delores Collins; his loving wife of 20 years, Kim S. Jacomet-Collins; 2 daughters, Meghan (Brent) McKay and Heather (Bryon) Hornbrook; step-son, Taylor (Christina) Jacomet; and his 8 wonderful grandchildren, Nevaeh, Braxton, Max, Maddie, Bodhi, Avery, Kelsi & Colton.
