Victoria "Vicki" Lynn Gruber

Gruber, Victoria Lynn “Vicki”, age 53 of Vandalia, passed away Thursday April 13, 2023, at home surrounded by her family.  Vicki was born July 28, 1969, in Portland IN, daughter of Eugene and Barbara (Wuebker) Lennartz.  She was a member of St Christopher Catholic Church and was an Occupational Therapy Assistant who enjoyed caring for her patients.  She dearly loved the outdoors, especially spending time at the beach, camping or spending time gardening.  Vicki always put family first and dearly loved her children and her animals.  She had a close-knit group of friends who always knew her as the “life of the party”.  Vicki is survived by her parents; her husband of 32 years Mark Gruber; her children Jesse and wife Heather Gruber of Butler Twp, Justin and fiance’ Gracie Engle of Vandalia, Kathryn & husband Tyler Capperelli of Tipp City; 10 brothers and sisters Amy (Steve) Wendel, Dan (Theresa) Lennartz, Todd (Lisa) Lennartz, Tony (Elasha) Lennartz, Kathy (Kyle) Schoenherr, Bill (Ambie) Lennartz, Sara (Brad) Evers, Matt (Janelle) Lennartz, Nick Lennartz, Dave (Ashley) Lennartz; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 20, 2023 at 10:00am at St Christopher Catholic Church 435 E. National Rd Vandalia with Fr. John Tonkin officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 3 to 6pm.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to METAvivor Research and Support Inc or to Ohio Hospice of Dayton in Vicki’s memory.
