Shirley A. Greider

Age 89, of Clayton, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Shirley was born June 29, 1932 in Dayton to the late William C. & Edna C. (Harding) Nies. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Virgil A. Greider, in 1992.

She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Englewood.

Shirley is survived by four children, Brenda Allard, Rebecca Griesheimer & her husband, Rodney, Gordon Greider & his wife, Pam & Kevin Greider & his wife, Lois; nine grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday (August 27) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday (8/28) at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City.

Due to family health issues it is requested that all those attending the visitation and/or funeral service to please wear a mask.
