Roland W. Smith

Age 83, of Englewood, passed away Monday, August 10, 2020, at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton. Roland was born June 19, 1937 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Willie Isaac & Nickatie Virginia (Edwards) Smith. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Sharolyn Smith, in 2014 and by their daughter, Jennifer, in 2015.

Roland was a U. S. Army veteran and a member of the Northridge Wesleyan Church.

He is survived by two sisters, Marian Kniess & her husband, Norman and Norma Warner & her husband, Charles; and by numerous nieces & nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Pastor Scott Ritz will officiate. Interment will be in the Studebaker Cemetery in Miami County.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Roland to the Northridge Wesleyan Church, 1842 Neff Road, Dayton, Ohio 45414.
