Robert Lee Beck

Robert Lee Beck, 75, of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022 after a short and courageous battle with cancer. He was born to Charles & Florence Beck on April 25, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, working in his yard, NASCAR, all antique cars, and breakfasts with his friends. He was always there to lend a helping hand to family and friends in need. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Robert Dungan.

Survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Mary Bea (Dungan) Beck; daughters, Lisa (David) Noble and Lori (William) Miller; grandchildren, Benjamin (Megan), Joe (Ade), Desiree (Matt), Erika, Jonah (Raquel), Kirah (William) and Justin; 4 great grandchildren; cousin, Gary Gaylor; sister-in-law, Sandra Dungan; niece, Nicole Dungan; nephews, Robert & Richard Dungan; and many friends.

A visitation will be held Monday, Mar. 28, 2022 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia from 1:00-3:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
