Richard "Joe" Shaw

SHAW, Richard “Joe,” 59, of Troy, formerly of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021. He was born to Harry & Reva Shaw on August 15, 1961 in Dayton, Ohio. He was a 1979 graduate of Vandalia Butler High School and social member of the V.F.W. and American Legion. Joe loved his family, fishing, golf, cooking and his Harley Davidson. Preceded in death by his father, Harry W. Shaw, in 2020.

Survived by his mother, Reva Shaw; daughter, Sara Shaw; sister, Karen Pearson (Randy); niece, Kate Brock (Nic); nephews, Clint Pearson (Donna) and Austin Pearson (Marisa); many other relatives & friends. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Rev. Michael Malcosky, officiating. Interment to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 12 noon Wednesday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
