Richard E. Myers

MYERS, Richard Edmund, age 88, of Tipp City, Ohio, formerly of Hanover, Pennsylvania, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Vancrest of New Carlisle. He was born to David and Goldie Myers, in Washington D.C., on February 7, 1935.  Richard was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired employee of Stambaugh Auto. He was a member of the West Charleston Church of the Brethren in Tipp City and enjoyed fishing, collecting coins and stamps.

Preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Lucille and one brother, Charles Myers, Richard is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Lori Lynn & Neil Diehl, of Tipp City; granddaughters, Julianna Christine & Heather Lynn Diehl; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Caleb Kragt officiating. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 p.m., until time of service, at the funeral home.
