Rebecca Worst-Dezarn

REBECCA R. WORST-DEZARN

Rebecca, age 53, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at her home.  She was born July 2, 1968 in Dayton, Ohio to Robert D. and Shirley (Koogler) Worst.  Becky was a 1986 graduate of Wayne High School, earned her undergraduate degree at Wright State University, and obtained her Masters Degree in Education from the University of Dayton.  She was a loved, admired and respected teacher with the Northridge School District.  Becky was a meticulous planner and organizer.  Her attention to detail led to the creation of the amazingly beautiful home she provided for her family.   She was an avid animal lover, loved fine dining, and travelling, especially to her favorite destination, Maui. 

Becky was preceded in death by her beloved father, Robert D. Worst in 2004.  She is survived by her mother, Shirley; her husband of 15 years, Paul Dezarn, son, Zachary Dezarn and his wife, Rachelle; and 4 grandchildren, Braylen, Bri, Braxton and Brantley, along with many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the Woodland Cemetery Chapel, 118 Woodland Ave., Dayton, Ohio.   The family will receive friends in the chapel from 10:30 am until time of service.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Adopt-A-Pit or Hospice of Miami County in Becky’s memory.  Arrangements entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
