Rebecca Griesheimer

Rebecca Jean Griesheimer, 55, of Englewood, OH passed away on October 24, 2023, after a 4-year hard-fought battle with breast cancer.  She was born July 8, 1968, to Shirley and Virgil Greider.

Rebecca had a fulfilling career as a radiologist, dedicating over 25 years of her life to Miami Valley North.  Her expertise and compassion touched the lives of many patients throughout her career.  Outside of work, Rebecca found joy in spending time with her family and friends.  She cherished every moment shared with her loved ones, making memories that will be treasured forever.

Rebecca is survived by her husband of 31 years, Rodney Griesheimer; her sons, who she loved fiercely, Nicholas, Chase, and Lane.  She is also survived by her sister, Brenda Allard and brothers, Kevin (Lois) Greider and Gordon (Pam) Greider.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Virgil Greider.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Griesheimer officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, October 31 from 4-7 pm.

Rebecca’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.  Her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to an organization to fight breast cancer, The James Cancer Center at The Ohio State University or a charity of your choice in Rebecca’s memory.
