Phillip W. Sisk

Age 86, of Vandalia, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023, at The Ridge at Beavercreek. Phil was born February 17, 1937 in Rochester, New York and he was raised in Onondaga, New York by his grandparents, James & Ellen (Shea) Ladd.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara Elaine (Purdy) Sisk; and by a son-in-law, Randy Hooker.

Phil was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  He also retired from J. I. Case Corporation, after holding numerous positions such as Field Technical Manager, District and Regional Representative and Product Support Manager. For over seven years he served as a head baseball coach for the Dayton Area Baseball Commission.

Phil is survived by three children, Shawn J. Sisk (Mary Duwel), Laurie Davis & Phillip Sisk, II (Regina); four grandchildren, Tyler (Morgan) Sisk, Sheree’ Sisk, Ryan (Brittany) Davis & Angela Davis; several great grandchildren; and by one sister, Carol.(Gary) Confor.
