Patsy J. Hoke

Age 89, of Westerville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020, in San Antonio, Texas. Patsy was born June 11, 1930 in Greenbrier County, West Virginia to the late Amos & May (Reaser) Vance. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin, in 1992 and by siblings, Raymond Vance, Palmer Vance, Helen Jones, Catherine Woosley & Geraldine Johnston.

Patsy was a 40 plus year member of the former First Baptist church of New Albany.

She is survived by four children, Ray Hoke, Susan Culbertson & her husband, David, Jeffrey Hoke and Christopher Hoke & his wife, Andrea); eight grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two very special friends, Carol Whisman & Laura Hannah; and by her care giver who became a member of the family, Lorena Santisteban.

The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., on Monday, January 20, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Pastor Cody Clark will be officiating.
