Patricia Sue King

Age 73, of Vandalia, passed away at home on Thursday, March 17, 2022 after a lengthy illness. Patricia was born September 12, 1948 in Hazard, Kentucky to James F. and Lillian Goff.

She retired from General Motors.

Patricia (Pat) was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roger D. King in 2016; sister Dianah Hobbs and brothers Harrel, James, and Pete Goff.

She is survived by her loving son & daughter-in-law, DeWayne and Kim Hopping; 3 grandchildren, Kayleigh, Karlie, and Brenden; sisters Joyce (Gene) Collier, Lena Cook; and brother Donnie Goff.

Patricia was a genuine and loving woman. She was compassionate, empathetic, altruistic, tender, patient, neighborly, hospitable, generous, humorous, and fully devoted to her loved ones. Patricia and her husband donated their bodies to Wright State University for education and research.

A graveside service will be held at Poplar Hill Cemetery upon return of her cremains to the family.
