Mary Helen Motsch

Age 76, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Dayspring of Miami Valley. She was born August 16, 1943 in Dayton to the late Harold B. & Helen (Franz) Haas. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Motsch; son, Jeffrey E. Brown; and brother, Herb Haas.

Mary Helen was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church; the North Dayton Anglers Club; AMVETS post # 24 and the American Legion Post # 619.

Mary Helen is survived by her brothers, Ted Haas & his wife, Marcia and Bill Haas; two grandchildren, Elissa Trout (Jeff Walters) and Kenneth “K.C.” Brown; and by her life-long friend of many years, Sharon Brenner.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions a private service will be held. Interment will be with her husband at Dayton National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Mary Helen to the American Cancer Society.
