Mary B. Gray

Age 87, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital – Main Campus. Mary was born December 23, 1936 in Mexico, Missouri to the late Elmer & Hazel (Misner) Dill. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Gray; daughters, Lynnie and Dani; son, Donny; siblings, Ruth, Sonny & Susie; as well as many significant others.

Mary was a life-time member of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post # 6560 and The American Legion Post # 746. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family & friends.

Mary is survived by five daughters, Billie Sue Pullins & her husband, Bill, Mary Ann Clark & her husband, Billy, Bonnie Tarquinio & her husband, Marty, Kelly Hoke & her husband, Adam, Kristi Moomey & her husband, Noel; 19 grandchildren, Shannon, Sheri, Johnnie, Danielle (Chris), Michael, Brandon (Sara), Kristin (Kyle), Taylor, Ryan (Julia), Hannah (Matt), Nick, Coleton, Nick, Adam, Hailey (Cole), Sarah, Gage, Garret and Ava; 22 great grandchildren; and a few great great grandchildren; and by her extended family & many good friends.

Mary was an incredible woman with the fiercest fight and the kindest heart. A true force of nature who loved her “babies” with every fiber of her being. We will miss her all the days of our lives. We take comfort in the many words of wisdom, lessons and unwavering love she left with us.
