Linda A. Bramlage

Age 78, of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023, at The Hospice of Dayton. Linda was born August 13, 1944 in Lebanon, Ohio to the late Fred & Genevieve (Loyd) Zimmerman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie Furnas & Jean James.

Linda was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church since 1984 where she was active with the Women’s Prayer Group. She cared deeply for the people in her life, especially her family. Linda treasured all the times and events spent with her grandsons, who gave her immense joy.  

Linda is survived by her loving husband of the past 53 years, Melvin H. Bramlage; two children, Elizabeth “Betsy” Swigart & her husband, Nick and Joseph Bramlage & his wife, Sarah; three grandchildren, Max & Jake Swigart and Bodhi Bramlage; one sister, Helen Earnhart; and by her extended family & many good friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 2, at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 East National Road, Vandalia. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Andrew Smith at 11:30 a.m. Inurnment will be at Poplar Hill Cemetery in Spring of 2023.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Linda to The Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420.
