Kenneth Frank Ellis
Age 87, of Butler Twp., passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Grandview Hospital. Ken was born April 5, 1934 in Omar, West Virginia.
He was a member of Northridge Freewill Baptist Church, retired from General Motors – Delco Moraine and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of the past 66 years, Joyce K. (Edwards) Ellis; daughter, Janet Wagoner & her husband, Bennie; son, Larry Ellis & his wife, Sandra; five siblings, Homer Young, Ronald Young, James Young & his wife, Kelley, Jean Bryan & her husband, Harry & Julia Martin & her husband, Jim; three grandchildren, Amanda Taulbee (Dax), Alicia Wagoner & Brandon Wagoner (Trinity); two great grandchildren, Isaac & Leah Taulbee; and by his extended family & many good friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 20, at Northridge Freewill Baptist Church, 4800 Payne Ave., Dayton, Oh 45414. Funeral services will be held at the church on Tuesday at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Steve Nickles officiating. The family will also be receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the church. Interment will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery in Vandalia.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Ken to the church.
