Joyce I. Fraley

FRALEY, Joyce I., age 91 of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Carriage Inn of Dayton.  Joyce was born June 5, 1930, in Sciotoville, Ohio, daughter of the late Fred & Josephine (Brown) Lang.  She was an amazing cook who loved spending time in the kitchen.  She was especially proud of her famous Christmas cookies that she shared with everyone, as well as her amazing carrot cake at the holidays. 

Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Fraley in 1991, Joyce is survived by her three sons, Steve Fraley & wife, MaryAnn, Dave Fraley and Bob Fraley & wife, Cindy; 6 grandchildren, Aaron, Beth, Emily, Curtis, Jerrod (Taylor) and Brandon (Becki); and her 10 great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Garrett, Evelyn, Nolan, Abigail, Emma, Hunter, Jacob, Neville, & Tilly.  

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia, Ohio with Chaplain Spencer Reed officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Crossroads Hospice, 8069 Washington Village Dr, Dayton, OH 45458 in Joyce’s memory.
