John Lewis Stiffler, Jr.

Age 79, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Brookhaven Nursing & Rehab Center. John was born May 2, 1942 in Fairborn, Ohio to the late John Lewis (Sr.) & Gladys Irene (Godfrey) Stiffler.

John is survived by his loving wife of the past 58 years, Sarah Frances “Fran” (Fyffe) Stiffler; four children, Lisa Irene Wallace & her husband, Joe, John C. “Chris” Stiffler & his wife, Marlene, Renee Chesley & her husband, John and Anita Linn Brickman & her husband, Chris; two sisters, Shirley Pensyl & Sharon Stiffler; 12 grandchildren, Joshua Bennington, Jessica Stiffler, C. J. Brickman, Brett Stiffler, Gavin Stiffler, Jaxon Stiffler, Nicol Chesley (Adam), Ciara Chesley, Brooke Works (Dallas), Kali Brickman, Jodi Cole & Christopher Wallace; five great grandchildren, Josh Jr., Nic, Lilly, Theo & Nehemiah; and by one niece, Kimberly Jones (Andy).

The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 12, 2021, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 South Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Livingston officiating. Interment will follow at Fairfield Cemetery in Fairborn, Ohio.
