James Wiseman Obituary

WISEMAN, James E., 84, of Clarksburg & Nutter Fort, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in Troy, Ohio. He was born to James L. & Katherine A. Wiseman on November 20, 1937 in Clarksburg, WV. Jim served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps and later served and retired from the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #6 in Bridgeport, WV; the Scottish Rite; life member of V.F.W. Post #3283 in Huber Heights, OH, AMVETS #24 in Dayton, OH, and the American Legion Post #200 in Huber Heights.

Preceded in death by his sister, Dian Jones, and brothers, Boyd & Bill Wiseman. Survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Sherry Wiseman; daughter, Jackie Bissett (Ken); sons, Jamie Wiseman (Calvilon) and Darrin Wiseman (Tracy); sister, Mary Lou Frasheur; brother, Harry Wiseman; 5 grandchildren, Scott, Stephanie, Stacy, Michael & Trinity; great grandchildren, Odin James, Ozlynn, Destiny, Haylee & Isiah; numerous nieces, nephews & friends.

A graveside service and burial will be held at the West Virginia National Cemetery, Grafton, WV, on Friday, May 20. If desired, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Miami County.
