James Stiffler Obituary

STIFFLER, James R., 81, of Troy, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021. He was born to the late George & Helen Stiffler on April 25, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio. James was a member of the New Lebanon Church of the Nazarene and was a supervisor at the Pennington Bread Company for many years. His passion in life was his family and his dog, Abbey. He loved to travel to Florida every year with his family. Preceded in death by 8 sisters and a brother, and his son, Gregory.

Survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Helen; daughters, Amy Knoll & Vivian Blair (Dan); sons, Brad Stiffler (Kristina), Robert Vogler (Kathy) & Michael Vogler; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren & 4 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews & many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2021 at the New Lebanon Church of the Nazarene, 176 N. Johnsville Brookville Road, New Lebanon, OH 45345. Pastor Thomas Clark and Rev. Stan Daniels, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Lebanon Church of the Nazarene in James’s memory.
