Irene Jane Miller

Age 95, of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021. Irene was born October 14, 1925 in Nashville, Ohio to the late Sam & Charlene (Young) Burnside. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of over 52 years, Bernard I. Miller, in 2002; two sons, Larry Burnside & Bernie Miller; two grandsons, Jeremy Miller & Nicholas Miller; and by eight brothers & sisters.

Irene was an avid reader, loved to garden and greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by four children, Diane Montague (Gary), Sandy Miller, Patricia Napier (William Carter) & Robert Miller; 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; and by numerous nieces & nephews.

The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 29, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Malcosky officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City.
