Fay Scharff

SCHARFF, Fay, age 87, of Vandalia, Ohio, passed away April 25, 2021 and went to her heavenly home to join her loving husband of 60 years, Martin Scharff. Fay was born in Middletown, Ohio to the late Chester & Garnett Stamper. In addition to her parents and husband Martin, Fay was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Doris Waddell and Louise Webb; 2 brothers, Donald Stamper & Chester Arthur Stamper.

She is survived by 2 children, Jeff Scharff (Joni) and Brenda Scharff (Donny); sisters, Ruth Jorgensen, Debbie Stamper Walters & Thelma Stamper. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, Brandy Gibbins (Mike), Monica Stricklin (Ben), Tim Bowen (Britt), Zach Bowen (Haley) and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews & friends.

Fay graduated from Lemon Monroe High School in 1951. She met and married her soul mate, Martin in 1953. She helped him set up his law office and worked beside him for several years. She loved her family and was an awesome mother, grandmother & great grandmother. She enjoyed family get togethers, dancing, traveling and video poker at the casino. A special thank you from the family to Dave Scharff for all your support and always being there for us. We love you.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
