Elizabeth J. Gough

Age 95, of Tipp City, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020. She was born August 23, 1924 in Dayton to the late Lee J. & Alma (Leeper) Hilgeford. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, David M. Gough, in 1984; son, Danny Gough; Daughter, Rebecca Pierson; and siblings, Dwight, Tom & Geraldine.

Elizabeth was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church for over 40 years. Her family was her passion and she always put them first.

She is survived by three children, Michael Gough & his wife, Linda, Anthony Gough & his wife, Linda, Julie Johnson & her husband, Charles; and by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 14, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Tipp City. Internment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Tipp City. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass.

In order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 all those attending are requested to wear a mask.
