Age 85, of Dayton, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020, at the Oak Creek Terrace Nursing & Rehab Center in Kettering. Edith was born September 9, 1934 in Germany to Kellner Ludwig Christian Max Schalge and Emma Erna Elisabeth (Koch) Schalge. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Taylor.

Edith was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church of Dayton and she retired from the Army – Air Force Base Exchange at WPAFB (Wright-Patterson Base Exchange).

Edith is survived by three children, Daniel L. & his wife Janet Taylor, Timothy G. & his wife Marion Taylor & Shirley E. & her husband, Michael Jung; and by several grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Inurnment will occur at a later date at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City, Ohio.
