Dorothy C. Pyle

PYLE, Dorothy C., age 80 of Vandalia, passed away Friday, May 29, 2020 at her residence.  She was born June 18, 1939 in Louellen, KY, daughter of the late Boyd William & Frances (Musick) Broughton.   Dorothy was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Murlin Heights.  She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Pyle, one brother, William Boyd "Bill" Broughton, and one sister, Rita Broughton.  Dorothy is survived by her children Vicki & husband Dave Baker, Cindy & husband Tom Brassell, Danny & wife Sue Severt, Gary Severt, Karen Bostwick, Ron & wife Michelle Severt, Vincent Pyle & fiance Diana Schaeffer; stepchildren Kristi & husband Joe Sullivan, Brad & wife Dwayna Pyle, Jackie & husband Earl McKenzie, Linda Schmidt; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 3 at the First Pentecostal Church of Murlin Heights, 8921 N. Dixie Dr., Dayton, OH 45414.  Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday evening from 5-7 pm.
