Donald Gentry

GENTRY, Donald Ray, age 69 of Vandalia, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.   He was born April 14, 1951 in Cookeville, Tennessee, son of the late H.P. & Mary Evelyn (Montgomery) Gentry.  Donald is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Kathy Lynn (Dietz) Gentry; one son, Kevin; twin daughters, Danielle and Dana; brothers, Dan and Harold Gentry and sister, Robin.  He was loved and will be missed by many relatives and friends and alike.  He was a sweet, wonderful man, husband, father, brother and friend.  He loved music and especially loved leading the songs at church.  He had a passion for old cars and if you needed a friend, he was always there for you.  If you needed a listening ear, he gave it.  Donald was and always will be a great example of what a Christian should be. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 7 at the Tipp City Church of Christ, 6460 S. Co. Rd. 25A, Tipp City, Ohio with Minister Kenny Dietz officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of service.  Arrangements entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
