David L. Bougine

David Lawrence Bougine passed away on the evening of May 26th after a long battle with cancer. 

He was born in Pontiac Michigan on April 26th, 1950, the youngest of 4 children to Delpha and John. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Kathleen, son David, sisters Joan and Sandra, and brother John.

David attended Michigan State University and received his Bachelor's degree from Wright State University. He worked as an engineer at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio for over 20 years.

David, or Big Dave as he was known to many of family and friends, was a dedicated father, loving husband, and loyal friend.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 3, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. A memorial service will conclude the evening at 7:00 p.m. with Deacon Chuck Wright officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation or Samaritan's Purse.
