Darlene L. Thomas

Age 74, of Vandalia, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the Miami County Hospice Inpatient Unit. Darlene was born July 16, 1947 in Dayton to the late Lester “Lucky” & Esther L. (Neu) Trump. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Trump.

Darlene was employed for many years in the Vandalia area as a Registered Nurse.

She is survived by her loving husband of the past 54 years, D. J. Thomas; three sons & their wives, Eric Thomas (Cindy), Scott Thomas (Beth) & Marc Thomas (Jeanette); her brother, Jeff Trump; her twin sister, Charlene Richards (who is also an R.N.); eight grandchildren, Tasha, Dakota, Lauren (Dylan), Joey, Kari, Justice (Dakota), Paige (Amanda) & Jordan; and by seven great grandchildren, Kaiden, Dante, Waverly, Olivia, Miles, and twins Emsley & Emersyn.

The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, at the Vandalia United Methodist Church, 200 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Malcosky officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City.
