Brenda J Rice

Brenda Jean Rice of Huber Heights Ohio unexpectedly passed away in her home on July 9, 2020 at the age of 60.  She was born December 1st, 1959 in Dayton Ohio to William and Mary Heizer.  Brenda is survived by her kids, David (Robin), Bronda (Charlie), Nicki (Bud), and Timothy (Shelby); her grandkids, Christopher, J.R., Adrienne, Shelbi, Gage E., Makyla, Blake, Lizzi, Gage M., Korbin, Hunner, Paisley, Joclynn and Raeleigh; one great grandbaby, Daniel; her mother, Mary Heizer and sister Cathy (Larry) Lutz along with many nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Rice and her father, William Heizer. 

Brenda was a devoted mother and grandmother, as well as an amazingly selfless woman. She was always happy doing things with her family. She loved her family very much, as they did her too. All of her grandkids called her Hunny which brought joy to her heart. She was an amazing Hunny and all of her grandkids loved her so very much. Her kids will always remember her as a very strong, smart, funny woman who would do anything in the world for them. Brenda enjoyed camping, swimming, coloring, going for walks and family time. She was a one of a kind woman who will be missed by so many people.  

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, July 16 at the Vandalia United Methodist Church, 200 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia.   The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 4- 6 pm.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
