Bonnie Skaggs

SKAGGS, Bonnie L., age 72 of Clayton, passed away August 27, 2020 at her residence.  She was born April 10, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio.  Bonnie worked many years for MTM Molded Products.  Bonnie was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Louise Jackson, one daughter, Robin Skaggs; one son, Jimmy Skaggs; and her brother, Russell Dennis.   She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James “Jim” Skaggs; her daughter, Diana Espy (Chris); five grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Jimmy, Madison and Marc; two sisters, Judy Crowe (Michael) and Sandy Schipper (Donald) along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

Visitation will be held from 10:30 am-11:30 am, Saturday, September 5 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia with funeral services to be held at 11:30 am.   Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.   If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Bonnie’s memory.
