COLLETT, Anna Elizabeth, 94, formerly of Tipp City, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, into the loving arms of her Savior & Lord Jesus Christ. She was born in Wallins Creek, Kentucky on December 7, 1925 to Allen & Lillie (Hensley) Burke. She married her husband Reverend Ernest Collett on September 18, 1945. Annie worked many years for the Foreman Catering Service in Vandalia. She was also a founding member of the First Pentecostal Church of Union, Ohio. She was a devoted pastor’s wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother & great great grandmother. Annie is survived by her four children, Betty Church, Della Church (Gary, Sr.), Naomi Shelton (Rod) & Ernestine King (Larry, Sr.); numerous grandchildren, great & great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews & many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Ronnie, grandson, Jamie, son-in-law, Jim Church, 2 sisters & 6 brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, at the Redemption Christian Tabernacle, 11780 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City, OH 45371. Pastor Todd Hoskins will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 12 noon until time of service.
