Alma Jean Dalton (nee: Freeman)
Age 92, of Northridge, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021, at Miami Valley Hospital. Alma was born January 25, 1928 in Corbin, Kentucky to the late Cleve & Nonnie (Strunk) Freeman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Kenneth Dalton, Jr.; and by eight brothers, Edgar, Avery, Lloyd, Floyd, Jack, Junior, Arlis & Claude; and by three sisters, Alza Ritter, Wilma Cox & Irene Deady (Hamblin).
Alma is survived by two children, Linda Hutchinson & Michael Dalton (and his fiance’, Ronda Southwood); grandchildren, Eric Peppo (Julia), Megan Banis (Jamie) & Jessie Herr (Bob); great grandchildren, Brenden, Austen, Mason, Katlynn, Paiton, Addison, Brayden, Madison & Harper; and by numerous other nieces, nephews and good friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City. Pastor Ron Evans will officiate.
Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home (Vandalia) is in charge of arrangements.
