William C. Nickol

William C. “Nick” Nickol, 78, of Englewood, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025. He was born to William N. & Colleen Nickol on August 6, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland. Nick served our country with honor in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of V.F.W. Post #9936 in Dayton. Preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Jackie Nickol, and his son, Bret Nickol. 

Survived by his sons, Justin Nickol (Paige), Matt Nickol & Sean Nickol; grandchildren, Kaylee, London, Mila & Morgan; many brothers & sisters; numerous nieces, nephews & friends. 

A celebration of Nick’s life will be held at 12 noon Saturday, March 1, 2025 at V.F.W. Post #9936, 1720 East Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45403. Arrangements entrusted to the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to V.F.W. Post #9936 in Nick’s memory.
