William E. Landenburg, Jr.

William E. Landenburg, Jr. "Bengal Bill" Age 60, of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015. He was born December 13, 1954 in Dayton to William E. (Sr.) & Marcella (Dolinski) Landenburg. Bill was the Bengals' # 1 fan, a 1973 graduate of Vandalia-Butler High School, a member of the Tipp City Eagles # 2201 and he played in the Preble County Pool League for several years. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Linda Robertson (Michael); his one true friend, Tim "Turtle" Brock; niece, Letitia Pugh (Christopher); nephew, Derrick Robertson; two great nephews, Ian & Eli Pugh and by his extended family & many good friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday (4/7) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Pastor Curt Duncan will officiate. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. If friends desire, contributions should be made to the Dayton Area Diabetes Association.
