William Edward Flach

William Edward Flach, Age 82, of Huber Heights, Ohio passed away February 12, 2024.

William is survived by his wife Martha, three sons Brian, Mark and Daniel, daughter in-law Stacey, grandchildren Holly and Adam and by Williams brother Jim. William was preceded in death by his mother Alma, father Carl and his sister Ann.

William is remembered as a loving husband and father and a proud member of the United States Air Force, retired. William served 20 years in the US Air Force as an aircraft mechanic and served in the Vietnam conflict. Upon retiring William was employed as a civil servant at Wright Patterson AFB as an aircraft mechanic.

William was an avid collector of stamps and coins, enjoyed weekend BBQs with family, loved going fishing with his boys and grandson and enjoyed rooting for the Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday February 19 at 10:00am at St Peters Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4pm. If so desired, contributions may be made to the charity of  your choice in Mr. Flach's memory.
