Vickey L. Searcy

SEARCY, Vickey L., age 56 of Vandalia, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 31, 2022.  She was born March 4, 1966 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Eugene Hileman and Ova Estelle Scantland.  Vickey was a 1984 graduate of Northridge High School and later went on to study quality control technology at Sinclair Community College, where she graduated in 1991.  She loved cooking, gardening, scrapbooking and watching a good movie.  She treasured the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and her beloved dog.

Preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Clifford and Larry, Vickey is survived by her daughters, Ashlie and Megan Searcy; grandchildren, Silas and Marcie Half-brother, Jimmy (Helen), Half-sister Regina and numerous other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia from 2-4PM, with service at 4:00PM
