Vernon L. Tracey, Jr.
Age 87, of Vandalia, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016. He was born October 12, 1928 in Dayton to the late Vernon L. (Sr.) & Helen (Clemons) Tracey. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife in 2013, Marty (Fitzgerald) Tracey.
Vernon is survived by three sisters, Iris Tracey, Opal O’Connell & Sharon Scholz (Doug); brother, Joseph Tracey (Mary) and by his brother-in-law, Bobby Fitzgerald (Maxine).
The family will be receiving friends from 5 – 7 p.m., Wednesday (1/20) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Interment will be at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
If friends desire, contributions may be made in memory of Vernon to your local SICSA chapter.
