Travis J. Eskew

Age 69, of Vandalia, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 29, 2025. He was born January 21, 1956 in Dayton to the late James & Betty (Silver) Eskew. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one sister, Christa Johnson; and by two brother, James “Jay” & Cary Eskew.

Travis was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church. He was also a life-time member of the Irish Club and was an amazing coach for his children & community.

Travis is survived by his loving wife of the past 46 years, Debra K. (Curtis) Eskew; three children, Jessica Wisby & her husband, Mike, Jacqulyn Mundhenk & her husband, Eric and Travis Eskew, II & his wife, Stacy; seven grandchildren, Max, Jaxson, Austen, Isabella, Myah, Ava & Charlotte; three brothers, Mike, Scott (Joanne) & Sean Eskew; and by his extended family & many good friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 13, at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 East National Road, Vandalia. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Chibueze Asiegbulem celebrating.

A celebration of life will be held for Travis on Sunday, December 14, at the Irish Club, 6555 Dog Leg Road, Dayton from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Travis to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
