Tommy C Daugherty

DAUGHERTY, Tommy C., age 76, of Vandalia went to heaven Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton after courageously fighting a lengthy illness. He was born July 30, 1934 in Beattyville, KY son of the late Wayne & Nettie Daugherty. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a retired machinist with Harrison radiator. Preceded in death by 7 brothers & sisters, Tommy is survived by his wife of 49 years Winna (Davis) Daugherty; one son Ron & wife Sheeree of Vandalia; one daughter Angela & husband Frank Mikat of Columbus; one granddaughter Stephanie; one sister Anna & husband Roscoe Adams; 2 brothers John & wife Jean and Frank Daugherty; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday December 17 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church, 140 Elva Ct. Vandalia. Burial will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00am until time of the service. Arrangements entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
