Timothy Alan Watts II

Timothy Alan Watts II, Age 37, of Kettering, passed away on January 1, 2025. He was born on July 13, 1987, in Dayton, Ohio to his parents Timothy Watts and Susan Watts. Tim was a 2008 graduate of Vandalia-Butler High School and MVCTC specializing in Criminal Justice.

Preceded in death by his mother, Susan Watts, and grandparents Velma Watts, John Wilt Sr., and Nellie Wilt. Tim is survived by his grandfather, Johnny Watts of Tennessee, father, Timothy Watts of Lewisburg; brothers, Allyn Watts, Colt Watts, Bruce Wilcox Jr.; sisters Ashley, Kortney, and Nicole Wilcox; along with his aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, and numerous friends.

Tim was employed as a Corrections Officer at the Dayton Correctional Institute and was a member of Ocsea Afscme Local 11. He enjoyed and was very proud to work at DCI, and loved the staff and his co-workers.

Timmy enjoyed; spending time with friends and family, firearms and shooting, sports, video games, rock music, especially 1980’s rock. Timmy spent many summers as a child with his grandparents, Johnny and Velma Watts, in Pickett County Tennessee. This was probably his favorite time and his favorite place.

Tim will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held within the next few weeks. Please check for updates. His remains will be buried later at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Pickett County, Tennessee.
