Thomasine Louise Ealy (nee: Tancred)
Age 82, of Vandalia, OH, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025. She is reunited with the love of her life and eternal partner, Thomas R. Ealy.
Born September 16, 1943, in Dayton, OH, to James P. and Rosella M. (Hodapp) Tancred. Thomasine (Tomi) was known for her kindness, creativity, and her care for others. She started working at Ohio Bell at 18 years old until she retired from AT&T; a strong long-standing career. After retirement, Tomi worked as a trainer and volunteer at Dayton Children’s Hospital. She was a talented artist who loved movies, music, and cherished spending time with her family, friends and grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Thomas R. Ealy, in 2010; one brother, Patrick Tancred; and one sister, Suzanne Newman.
Tomi is survived by her daughter, Melissa A. (Ealy) Kaiser; son-in-law, Chad J. Kaiser; grandsons, Cameron T. Kaiser and Caden R. Kaiser; and sisters-in-law, Marjorie Tancred and Judith Goldberg.
The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 7, at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 East National Road, Vandalia, Ohio. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Chibueze Asiegbulem at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Zusman Hospice or Dayton Children's Hospital.
She will be remembered for her beautiful blue eyes, her generosity, artistic spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
