Thomas D. Conti III

CONTI, Thomas D. III, age 66 of Clayton, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016. He was born July 9, 1950 in Sharon, PA. Thomas was a 1968 graduate of Sharon High School, a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, a former Air Traffic Controller and aircraft mechanic with FedEx. Preceded in death by his father, Thomas D. Conti Jr. and brother-in-law, Jack Richard Fowler, Thomas is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sonya (Fowler) of Clayton; his mother, Elsie Conti of Greenville, PA; 3 children, Dominic Conti (Jen) of Butler Twp.; Caralee Grieshop (Nate) of Ludlow Falls and Anthony Conti of Clayton; 9 grandchildren, Thomas, Ashley, Billy, Shelby, A.J., Joe, Aubree, Samantha & Vincent; 3 siblings, Mary Lehett (Jack) of Hermitage, PA, Michael Conti (Doris) of W. Palm Beach, FL and Mark Conti (Linda) of Greenville, PA; 3 sisters-in-law, Tonya Hunter (Richard), Shahara Timbrook (Richard) & Tracy Martin (Jesse); 3 brothers-in-law, Gary Fowler (Pam), Aaron Shane Fowler & Michael Carroll (Ann), along with numerous other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life for Thomas will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, October 30 at the AmVets Post #99, 1123 S. Brown School Rd., Vandalia, OH 45377 including military honors. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Thomas’s memory. Local arrangements entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
