Theodore “Jr” Keen, age 85, of Tipp City, passed away Monday November 3, 2025 at The Brethren Retirement Home in Greenville, Ohio. He was born March 21, 1940 in Buchanan County, Virginia, son of the late Theodore & Fanny May Keen. Theodore (Jr) was retired from Tube Products (Faurecia) of Troy, Ohio in 2003 with 41 years of service. He was a member of the Monroe Grange for many years. He enjoyed camping, hunting & fishing. He was a big fan of the Cincinnati Reds and NASCAR favorite Dale Earnhardt. Preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Nancy Elizabeth (Brown) Keen of Tipp City, 2 sisters, Gertrude (Vandyke) Keen & Judy (White) Keen and 2 brothers, James Kenneth Keen & Ralph Keen. Jr is survived by 1 sister, Ruby Ellen Keen of Tennessee, 1 son, Theodore Keen III (Terri) of Tipp City, and 2 daughters, Katrina Mowery (Rob) of Greenville and Sally Chirico (Sal) of Hillsboro, 5 grandkids, Josh Anderson, Kyle (Laura) Mowery, Tyler (Lindsay) Mowery, Ashley (Ben) Baker & Anthony (Alexandra) Chirico, 6 great grandkids, Lily, Robbie & Allie Mowery, & Isabelle, Will & Amilia Baker and many nieces & nephews and extended family and friends. He loved going fishing with the grandkids: something funny always happened. The family would like to thank the Brethren Retirement Home and staff for all their help the last 3 years. Especially Teresa, Cherie and Jane to name a few that made a difference in his life there. And the EverHeart Hospice of Greenville that was there helping him through his final hours.
