Thelma Lee Crumrine

CRUMRINE, Thelma Lee, age 101 of Huber Heights, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at the Laurels of Huber Heights. She was born April 30, 1915 in Covington, OH, daughter of the late Charles C. & Susan (Rapp) Bowman. Thelma was a retired employee of the Huber Heights City Schools, where she worked in the cafeteria at Wayne High School. She was a founding member of the Emmanuel Church of the Brethren in Huber Heights and a member of the Till & Tell Garden Club. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Crumrine; her son, Dale Crumrine and her brothers and sisters, Thelma is survived by her 2 children, Tyrone Crumrine & wife, Phyllis of Huber Heights and Darlene Keesee & husband, Burl of Vandalia; 6 grandchildren, Dawn, Michael, Dean, Kim, Paulette & Denise; along with her great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Dean Garrett officiating. Interment will follow at David’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 am until time of service.
