Teresa L. Ryan

Teresa L. Ryan, 62, of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024. She was born to Lawrence & Mary Herrfurth on September 28, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio. Teresa was a 1981 graduate of Wayne High School. She was a strong person and proud grandmother. Teresa selflessly gave to her family and was a caregiver to her mother.

Preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Herrfurth; sister-in-law, Lori Herrfurth; brother-in-law, Tony Ryan.

Survived by her mother, Mary Herrfurth; beloved husband of 37 years, Jerry Ryan; son, Sean (Katie) Ryan; daughter, Kristen Ryan; brothers, Mike (Amy) Herrfurth & his daughter, Mackayla; Chris Herrfurth & his daughters, Natalie and Rachel; grandson, Aydin; brothers-in-law, Dan (Teresa) Ryan & his sons Matt and James, Michael (Andrea) Ryan & his son & daughter, Patrick & Leah, Tim (Cathy) Ryan & his son & daughter Jeffrey & Logan, John (Jodie) Ryan & his daughters Taylor & Peyton; niece & nephew, Jennifer Harris & Jason Ryan; best friends, Tara Pickett & Victoria Wright; many other relatives & friends.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, to the start of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Bill Loudermilk will officiate. The burial will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery.
