Tamara "Tammy" Leigh Sharp

Tamara “Tammy” Leigh Sharp, 65, of Tipp City, passed away on October 22, 2026. She was born August 15, 1961, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, to the late Paul and June Tucker. In addition to her parents, Tammy was preceded in death by her sister Karen and brothers James “Buzzy” and Michael.

Tammy was a stay-at-home mother until her daughters were old enough. She began her career as a cook and dietary cook at Upper Valley Medical Center and later at Kettering Behavioral Hospital before retiring in 2025. She loved taking many vacations to Gatlinburg, Tennessee as well as Venice, Florida and Orlando, Florida. Tammy loved spending time with each of her seven grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Timothy Sharp; her daughters Jennifer Sharp (Jack) and Chelsea Hernden (Jason); siblings Cindy, Judy, Tina, Robin, Todd, and Shawna; brother-in-law Terry Sharp (Lori); grandsons Landen, Cameron, Mason, Logan, Lane, Dylan, and Ayden; extended family and many friends.

A funeral will be held at Morton & Whetstone Funeral home on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Nickels Officiating. Family will receive friends from Noon until the time of the service.
