Talmage V. Nickell, Jr.

NICKELL, Talmage V., Jr., 71, of Centerville, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023. He was born to Talmage, Sr. & Ida Jean Nickell on May 22, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio. Talmage had worked at Hohman Plating, managed rental properties and also was a truck driver. He loved to draw, paint and watch television.

Preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeffery Scott Nickell; sister, Debbie; brothers, Michael, Mitchell & Jeffrey Lynn Nickell.

Survived by his wife Dorothy “Dottie;” son, Talmage Dewayne Nickell (Cathy); brother, Timothy R. Nickell; 6 grandchildren, Zachary, Taylor, Jessica, Alex, Jacob & Chirstian; 3 great grandchildren, Riley, Alex & Abigail; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & many friends.

A private viewing and funeral service was held Thursday, Mar. 9, 2023 at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia, with Pastor Michael Malcosky, officiating. The burial followed at Shiloh Park Cemetery in Dayton. Condolences can be shared at www.MortonWhetstoneFH.com.
