Susan Ann Acres

Susan Ann (Hilterbran) Acres Age 40 of Georgetown, KY, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015. She was born February 11, 1974 in Dayton, daughter of Ralph O. & Sandra Sue (Ward) Hilterbran. Susan earned both her Bachelor and Master's Degrees from the University of Tennessee and had worked as a 5th Grade Teacher at Lakota. Susan is survived by her husband of 17 years, Jim Acres; 2 sons, Logan James, age 10 and Peyton Charles, age 7, both at home; her parents, Ralph & Sandy Hilterbran of Butler Twp.; 1 sister, Gail Sanning of TN; 1 brother, Darren & wife, Ruby Hilterbran of Tipp City; 2 half-brothers, Rick & Jeff Hilterbran; 1 half-sister, Kathy Conoway; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James & Judy Acres; sister-in-law, Bridgett Acres along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 24 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Interment will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening (TODAY) from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, c/o American Cancer Society.
