Steven "Steve" Carver

CARVER, Steven B. “Steve,” 65, of Union, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022. He was born to David & Betty Carver on August 29, 1957 in Portsmouth, Ohio. Steve was also known as “Little Bear” and “Cub”. He was a life member of V.F.W. Post #5434 in Union. Preceded in death by his father, David, and mother, Betty; brother, John Carver; sister, Shelley Brown.

Survived by his wife of 47 years, Kathy; sons, David (Amanda) and Steven “Joe” (Rebecca); daughters, Kasey Carver and Karey Carver (Chris); sisters, Deena Casada and Kelly Macy (Tom); brother-in-law, Ron Brown; sister-in-law, Teresa Carver; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & many friends.

The family will receive friends at 12 noon Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia, with a funeral service at 1 p.m. Rev. John Seagraves, officiating. The burial will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia. Condolences can be shared at www.MortonWhetstoneFH.com.
