Steven A. Prim

Steven A. Prim Age 43, of Kettering, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Steven will be remembered as a devoted father, a Star Wars & Dallas Cowboys fan, an avid fisherman and his "twisted" sense of humor. He also took great joy from coaching his kids football & baseball teams. Steven is survived by his mother, Pamela (Lowe) Linker (Perry); two children, Dallas & Kinsey Prim; their mother, Jerri Prim; step-son, Alex Lilley; two sisters, Jessie (Prim) Burton (Jake) & Sara Linker (Eric Harrington); aunts, Dorothy "Dody" (Lowe) Speyrer (Jim) & Vicki (Lowe) Smith (Dee); uncle, Ricky Dixon (Patti); nieces & nephews, Caleb, Taylor & Toni; cousins, Julia, Matt, Sam & Sally; and by his extended family & many good friends. A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m., Sunday (2/15) at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Everett Caes officiating. After the memorial service family & friends are invited to gather for a time of food & fellowship at the home of Pamela & Perry Linker. The family requests no flowers, please. Rather, contributions should be made in memory of Steven to a college fund established for his children, Kinsey & Dallas Prim, in care of any Fifth/Third Bank.
